Paid outside our service fee

CONAI remains the client’s external cost.

The one-off CONAI adhesion quota is €5.16. CAC is calculated under the applicable CONAI procedure and remains payable to CONAI by the liable member. Both are separate from our fees and VAT.

Ordinary-procedure threshold

An annual CAC of €200 or less is tested separately for each material. At 10 tonnes or more for a material, a statistical declaration may still be required. The calculator never aggregates this into one blanket exemption.

A helper can suggest a fascia for estimation, but product construction and the official CONAI lists determine the final classification. Compostable bioplastic is €130/t through June and €246/t from 1 July 2026.

Declaration logic

Thresholds depend on the chosen procedure.

The ordinary route tests each material separately. An eligible simplified import procedure tests the total CAC and is not selected automatically by this site.

Ordinary · per material

≤ €200: annual self-check; a 10-tonne statistical declaration can still apply.

Annual declaration

More than €200 and up to €3,000 under the applicable basis.

Quarterly declaration

More than €3,000 and up to €31,000 under the applicable basis.

Monthly declaration

More than €31,000 under the applicable basis.

Simplified · total CAC

≤ €300: exemption threshold on the total simplified-procedure CAC, subject to eligibility and review.

First-year caveat

Quarterly treatment applies to a newly constituted company starting activity, not automatically to every foreign company newly joining CONAI.

CONAI amounts

The €5.16 adhesion quota and CAC remain separate amounts charged under the client’s CONAI position.

Exceptional work

Historical regularisation, translations, extra variants and work outside scope require separate approval.

Pricing questions

What is included in the service price?

Only the private work and limits set out in the written proposal. CONAI, VAT and external costs stay separate.

Does Standard guarantee CONAI adhesion or a marketplace result?

No. CONAI and each marketplace make their own decisions. We can prepare and coordinate evidence for the agreed scope.

Does Amazon Starter include previous years?

No. Prior periods or historical regularisation make the restricted Starter route ineligible and require a separate review.

Can I select a simplified CONAI procedure just because it is cheaper?

No. Eligibility, available data and the calendar-year commitment must be reviewed. The ordinary calculator does not switch procedure automatically.

Is the PPWR authorised representative a tax representative or PRO?

No. Those roles must remain distinct. Any mandate and powers are defined only in a separate written engagement.
